Frank Lloyd Wright envisioned this home in 1948 to overlook the Golden gate bridge which had just recently been completed in 1937. Sadly this home was never built for reasons I’m not sure of, as a consolation Mr. Morris did commission FLW to build his ‘gift shop’ in San Francisco.
There is an $18 million home on the intended site these days, but a mere shadow of what was originally planned, IMO it’s the ‘wrong home on the Wright site’.
